To use Document Inspector to find remaining tracked changes, comments, and other information you may not want to share, on the Review tab, click Check for Issues, then Inspect Document. On the Review tab, in the Comments group, click the arrow below Delete, then click Delete All Comments in Document. Open the Show Markup dropdown menu (click on the downward facing arrow at the end) De-select Comments. To finalize the document all at once, click Accept All Changes or Reject All Changes. To hide your comments only in Word, simply: Navigate to the Review tab. To review changes one at a time, click Review then Accept or Reject. Get your document ready to share by permanently accepting or rejecting tracked changes, and deleting comments. That helps you see what the document will look like when it’s final, but changes will show up again the next time anyone opens it. So in this post I have show you how to hide paragraphs or lines of a document in Word. Note: After the change you must click on the Show/Hide tool again to remove its pointer on the screen. Result: The selected hidden texts will be display, the hidden texts that is not selected will not be shown. Answer (1 of 2): First, each check box content control in the document must be given a different Tag value so the macro can identify which one triggered the event. Step 2: Appeared the Font box, again in the Font section uncheck at Hidden. At this point, you can select the paragraphs or lines that you want to be shown, right-click and choose Font. Step 1: Go to tab Home and choose Show/Hide tool. This will remove the field codes, replacing them with the text they contained. Right-click, then click Toggle Field Codes. In this case you must remove the Hidden properties. First there is the most used way which is to hide texts. Press CTRL+A on your keyboard to select all the text within the document. Note: If the Hidden properties has been set by somebody else, you will not be alble to see the text no matter how much you type. If you click on Show/Hide tool again, the passage will continue to be hidden. That may make it useful in some contexts, but in a legal document, you typically want to include the footnotes/endnotes but exclude the introductory material (like the Table of Authorities) and other required text like a certificate of service.
Step 2: After clicking you can now see the hidden text. The total number of words in the document but Excludes words in footnotes, endnotes and text boxes. Now you want to see the passage hidden earlier, step 1: Go to tab Home and choose Show/Hide tool. With this way, the hidden paragraph is harder to detect because it has been covered by the next paragraph below. Step 3: The selected paragraph has been hidden and caused the paragraph below it to be pushed up. In the Font section tick on the box Hidden. Step 1: Select the paragraph you want to hide, then right-click and select Font.
